NATIONAL WOMEN’S COUNCIL MEMBERS URGED TO CONTINUE BUILDING PEACEFUL FAMILIES
Members of the National Women’s Council (CNF) in Nyarugenge District, together with District leaders, held a general assembly meeting on 19 August 2026. The meeting focused on presenting the achievements of CNF during the past five-year term (2021–2026), discussing priorities for the next five years, and other related matters.
The District Executive Administrator, Mr. Ingangare Alexis, thanked CNF members for their commitment and contribution to the development of the district. He urged them to continue strengthening programmes aimed at building strong, self-reliant and peaceful families, while continuing to contribute to the implementation of performance contracts of women (Mutimawurugo).
The Coordinator of CNF in Nyarugenge District, Ms. Agatesi Marie Laetitia Mugabo, said that many activities had been implemented during the five-year term, including:
- Combating malnutrition among children;
- Promoting community welfare and well-being;
- Preventing family conflicts by promoting strong and peaceful families; and
- Other related initiatives.
